Qingdao Pingcheng Steel Structure Co., Ltd is a private enterprise specialized in wind turbine tower and pressure vessels. The company was established in 1998, and now has 3 factories covering an area of 460000 square meters, land area of 150000 square meters, employing over 480 employees.
With annual sales volume of 600 million RMB, Pingcheng now can produce wind tower over 600 sets from 600KW to 5000KW per year. Pingcheng has successively manufactured over 1500 sets of wind towers for China’s famous power companies, especially China top 4 national power groups, Datang、Guodian、Huadian、Huaneng. Products are sold to 13provinces, cities and autonomous regions such as Inner Mongolia, Hebei and Liaoning etc. of China. Pingcheng also manufactures Pressure deaerators for boiler unit of 330MW～1000MW power station with annual output of 50sets. In recent years, Pingcheng has expanded to the international market. It works with Honiton Energy from Britain、Suzlon Energy from Indian and FLSmidth from Denmark.
Until 2004, Pingcheng invested 150million RMB in total on equipments、workshops、and testing facilities. The company is equipped with hoists over 40sets with load of 75t、50t、32t、20 t etc.; advanced CNC cutting machines, CNC rolling machines, H-shape steel production lines, and automatic production lines of steel tower; steel plates pretreatment lines, automatic sand-blasting lines for derusting both inside and outside wall of the tower tube, and automatic painting facilities; welding facilities over 100sets, having world advanced submerged arc welder, carbon dioxide arc welder, AC-DC welder; testing facilities, such as ray inspection machine, magnetic flaw detector, ultrasonic defect detector, universal testing machine etc；NDT lab and physical&chemical testing lab. Advanced equipment and technology ensure the quality of Pingcheng’s products.
